Race for the Cure

By: ARS Communications

On Sunday, October 18, American Radiology Services (ARS) sponsored and participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley, MD. Participation in the Race is an ARS tradition and an important part of our organization's culture.

This year the ARS team was 863 members strong. On the day of the Race, team members walked, ran, and handed out 10,000 pairs of gloves to attendees.

Throughout the year, team members held fundraisers to raise over $20,000 to support the Race. These fundraisers included a Harvest Festival, silent auction, pancake breakfasts, and raffles.

ARS is committed to raising public awareness of the importance of early detection through mammography screenings and monthly breast self-exams. Early detection saves lives and ARS remains dedicated to ensuring everyone receives this message.
